I got on the wootcast today! OMG OMG OMG. Yeah… Calming back down.
So I had this crazy realization just now, like, RIGHT NOW, but RIGHT NOW in the past which was JUST NOW. Get it? Well, blind people can’t see.
They have no concept of color. How do you describe colors to blind people? How do you describe a ventriloquist act to a blind person? Like, all they hear is someone talking. I dunno if they know what mouth moving is. Just kidding. They know what mouth moving is because they can feel it. Which, in turn, makes understanding a ventriloquist fairly easy for a blind person, but then, color!
The entire concept of color, the very defining nature of our safety and existence. When it’d dark, it’s hard to see and discern objects. For blind people, the only color they see is black I’d assume. To live in such a dark world, that would suck. People can even be afraid of the dark, but what if you were blind and afraid of the dark? That would be counterintuitive because of the fact that blind people don’t see light either! How do you explain that? They can’t feel that either. You can’t really even sense if it’s night or day.
That all reminds me of the Infobox and how it’s 6 stories underground. There’s no way to discern what time of day it is because it’s always whatever it is if the light is either on or off.
Strange paradoxes are forming all around the world. Watch out, they bite!
