Farsi in Prince of Persia?

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

The strange language the girl speaks when casting spell is, in fact, Farsi. I confirmed it last night when here w/ my sister. We were both quite stunned. It’s also evident that that voice actress speaking Farsi is also not the one speaking English, ha ha ha. I would almost want the entire game to be in Farsi now w/ subtitles because that’s how movies are in Iran.

Lemme explain. In Iran, they want pretty faces on the screen, but they’re not always the best actors. So they have someone else actually speaking into the mic. Strange huh? That’s just the way their old films are. So doing that kinda acting for Prince of Persia would technically be the same thing. Kinda neat to think about.

Christmas Cash

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

I love the alliteration! I just opened my Christmas cash. I don’t normally see a need to open anything but gifts, and since I didn’t get any, I didn’t open any. But I did finally open up my Christmas cash! Man there’s a lot more in there than I’ve ever seen! Maybe not getting gifts was a good thing, that is, if I really cared about money, but it’s the whole story and thought of giving a gift and seeing the look on their face (or hearing about it) once they’ve opened it and seen what you really got them!

I’ve given out four gifts so far just in time for Christmas day, but I’ve still got six more gifts I need to throw down the chimneys. I’ll explain more about this after I give ‘em out so the people will be surprised when they get them. They’re not expecting a gift from me, that’s for sure. And then I realized I was one gift short. I dunno where it went, but I’ll have to figure something out. The gift could be a hug for all I care :P jk jk. Whatever things happen, this makes me happy I think. I mean, that’s a lot of money, but it’s okay because it wasn’t wasted at all.

Either way, I wanna know what people think. Christmas cash or gifts? A mix of both? Thoughts and feeling?

New games asunder!

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Althought I got it for a lot cheaper, the newest game I bought is Pinky Street: Kira Kira * Music Hour from Dimple Entertainment. I’ve been sorta after the first game in the series for about a year now which is Pinky Street: Kira Kira * Music Night.

Another game I’m currently bidding on is Contact by Suda51 and I’m trying to also trying to get hooked up with a copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap because I really really wanna get my Zelda fix. I think I’m such smart gamers these days that I can play that game no problem. Not as smart as I have been, but I think I can suffice with my limited knowledge.

So I saw the coolest thing yesterday

Friday, December 26th, 2008

http://www.easyweb.fr/slideshow.html

From what I heard, most of this was all computer-generated and not actually anything to do with projectors. Either way, it’s quite amazing. The coolest parts are when there’s something going on behind the columns. Because that’s tough.

Tons and tons of neat lighting effects though!

World of Goo

Amazing discovery, World of Goo is up to 4 players on the WiiWare version! WHOA. I wish I’d known that a long time ago :( .

Changes in day-to-day life

Me on the Weekends w/ Family

Me dressed and combed for work.

See a difference? One is when I care about my appearance and the other is when I do not. If I’m gonna be around people or have a guest coming over or am going to see someone, I make sure to clean up. Otherwise, I have a field day completely not caring. And my hair can look like that or worse even after coming out of the shower. It just depends on if I remember to form it or not and sometimes it forms itself really really well and curls up and stuff. I guess this is why I usually get my hair cut extremely short, because I don’t touch it.

And yes, I have been extremely tired these days. Those pictures, at least the second one, do not hide it at all.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

Wednesday, December 24th, 2008

Now things are starting to make sense. Out of the roughly eight chapters, I’m about done with the second.

Tales of Symphonia completed

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

With the credits rolling, I write this: I’ve finally beaten it. After five years, finally, I’ve completed the game. This is the second Tales game I’ve beaten with the first being Tales of Phantasia, a worldly precursor to this game although no history of Phantasia makes its way in this besides having the same world.

Getting Angry?

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Well I’ve already said what gets me down, (Biggest epiphany ever!) but what causes me to be angry? Well I don’t really know at all. But I do know there was one moment, only one moment aside from arguments with my parents, that I was so angry I was screaming and shouting and my face was going red. And that was the end of it. I’m surprised I didn’t just leave because there has not been in my life any situation that had gotten me to actually be that angry and exert it to the world. And that means a lot.

There are a few memorable times I’ve made a statement because of how angry I was, but I didn’t take it out on anyone, I just left. Although I didn’t really say much if anything, I didn’t go crazy on anyone and I still know those people. I can’t remember, without this feeling of regret, that one single time I screamed and shouted at someone. For me to do something like that, oh man. I dunno if it’s just me or the other person/people, but dang that takes a lot to kill me like that and make me actually go completely 100% against my belief system that yelling at people and getting angry at them is wrong. There are so many better ways to solve things and yelling never ever helps.

I can’t believe how much stress I was under to have actually just up and lose sight of my life and the people in it. Man… I’m just glad only one person heard me like that but I’m saddened by the fact that it even happened and especially to her. Yeah, well I’m done remembering it. Written and forgotten now.

Some things really make me want to dance

Monday, December 15th, 2008

And it’s not as much wanting to dance as wanting to know how so I can, ha ha ha. I tried it on the stairs on the way up to get my mood and just about killed myself but it was so fun! Hee hee! Stormy Black Black Mix from some kinda King of Fighters DANCE! album I found on my hard drive is one of those songs. I dunno where or how I got a hold of this, but I’m hoping it’s an indi song and not something I ripped off of a PS2 disk I had.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 completed already

Monday, December 15th, 2008

This is another one of those I’ve already completed. Waiting for R3 or the next chapter or whatever. I think the main guy already quit the series, and I hope they end it soon because it is no longer what he wanted.

I think I’ve already posted about this one and how much it seems to improve upon and make more to do with the first series so I can’t wait until the third one to hopefully finish it off finally.

TRAVA – FIST PLANET episode1 completed

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Wowowowow. I spent forever watching through this from my first time streaming it off of a hard drive on my grandma’s laptop one day. I never really got to see much of it because I was entertaining a 2 and 4 yr old, but now that I’ve finished it, I’m pretty surprised as to how in depth it got even if just slightly.

I really hope they make episode2 and on. This was a 4-part thing for episode1, and each was roughly only 10 minutes of actual show time. I really wanna see this played out in full sometime. I feel as it might be like Gun Frontier or Juuni Kokki. But judging by the fact that most Japanese know what is good, there might end up being a finale of some sorts. Let’s hope the magazine finishes up this kind of a story.

Chrome is out of beta … WHAT?

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

That was my expression as I read that three times over.

I really can’t believe it. Google actually took an app outta beta. This is a first for my eyes. Google Chrome is now at version one. I will not try it out myself, but I would like to hear of the new features.

Black Lagoon completed

Friday, December 12th, 2008

Glad I finished this one. The ONLY anime I’ve seen new and finished since I started working.

I recommend this to people, but it’s a bit hard to understand. Lots and lots of action; although not all realistic which isn’t an issue.

The Fight for Linux

Linux – stop holding our kids back

While I’d have to say his reply is rude, demeaning, and so condescending in every word, and it’s not gonna win over anyone. If anything, now that teacher is gonna base all of her perceptions of everything Linux on this one guy who’s being a jerk to her and preach even more to the Microsoft way of life. Laugh it off Mr.
