I’m actually white; so weird to think about

Friday, January 30th, 2009

I finally figured out how to spell Aryan. I looked at it and said “that’s a Persian word”. So I go up on Wikipedia and see it saying it’s originally Sanskrit for “Ārya”. I thought to myself, Sanskrit has the same sounds as Farsi from the research I did in the book “The Mystery of Numbers”. The next thing then would be to look up more Wiki articles.

Harmonica Jazz Essentials

Friday, January 30th, 2009

Today I bought the Harmonica Jazz Essentials album from Amazon MP3 Download which contains 24 songs. I haven’t used Amazon’s digital download service before because I assumed the songs were DRM infected. Well a little trip up, and I realize that I’ve never seen a DRM infected MP3. So I did my research and Amazon’s MP3s are normal audio files that I know and love. It didn’t take me more than a few seconds to then get a hold of their downloader. Now time to back up all of this music since I only get it once. I still think it was fantastic deal. For $8 I got 24 old-time harmonica songs. Awesome!

Asheville, North Carolina

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

Next month–Feb–I’ll be seeing a beautiful mountainous view in Asheville. I’ve already been hearing some good things about it and was invited out there to hang out.

This’ll officially be trip two for 2009. Trip one was me going to deliver Christmas gifts in Iowa and the whole Pittsburgh/Ohio thing fell through so this is really the actual trip two. I’m actually extremely excited. I’ve actually told a bunch of people already too.

The plane tickets were going to be anywhere from $280 to $580, but I got them free of charge. Purchased 2 nights ago, these tickets will introduce me to the world of contra dancing, umm, and some other stuff. I can’t wait! It’s been quite a number of months since I’ve planned out a big trip like this, but I’m sure this one’ll be fantastic!

Caught dancing?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

I know I’ve done stuff like this before with the dancing, but holy crap I suck. This guy totally has the moves. Check this out everyone.

It totally reminds me of this one time I was recording my roommate talking to me without him knowing. It was just random, and I was testing out the mic, but the content was hilarious! We were both laughing so hard. I was red faced and all.

GFXChilla GPU Cooler

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

Because of Robo’s review and the talk I had with him about it, I would up getting my own GFXChilla. I put it on the upper graphics card which had only the ASUS Radeon HD4850 TOP card w/ the Glacier cooler on it. I removed that cooling unit and put it on the passively-cooled ATi Radeon HD3870 I had in Soyver.

What makes something worth hearing about?

Sunday, January 25th, 2009

The emotional appeal. It’s the emotional appeal that really makes anything ever worthy. When you really hear the story told through someone’s own heart, that view-point only they can really express through time, are you really then able to feel and grasp that emotion. I think that’s what the one completely story of mine has that really grasps the readers. I only wish that I could read it myself.

But yeah, it’s neat to just look at those personal things and check out what people said and how they thought. I always wish I could’ve been there to stop something or help it along. I wish I could’ve been there to change things up and let flow what flows. I’m always loving doing this and in 2007, I stopped all of that and would up with a girl. Convenient right? It shows how girls really are attracted to the worst of us (guys too). Maybe it’s that, when caring about others, no one wants you for the sole reason that someone believes no one person is special. If you’re always out there treating everyone the same, how can any one person truly be special in your life?

Falling in Love again

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

Lol just kidding. I thought I’d post something up just for the heck of it. This is the first time I’ve done this. Either way, I’ve been working on my audio system today, and I think I’m finally getting how I want to set it up. This’ll be really tricky, but it seems like what I have right now is correct. Just need to make sure to configure the speakers and get the sub volume turned up, and I should be good.

The final thing attributing to rudeness

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

I felt like this dude was taunting me, like he was actually showing me what I had been doing wrong all along and throwing it in my face. I could not believe he was saying the things he did, and it hit me; that’s how I am too.

Biggest thing revealed to me today

Saturday, January 17th, 2009

HOLY CRAP I USED TO LIKE FOOTBALL? I mean I had a freakin’ obsession with it. WHAT THE HECK? No, better yet, what the heck happened? Was it just because dad really never got me into it or the fact that I just liked to read up on stuff but not actually watch the game. It’s like this for me isn’t it. I’m the planner first, adventurist second. I love to plan and put-forth, but not execute.

Stupid! I was into football for no reason other than statistics and just knowing things, stupid trivia.

I miss planning

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Kind of a downer comparing to my most recent posts, but I miss being able to tell anyone and everyone about stuff going on in my life and get opinions on everything. I loved the input people gave me, and it really shaped how successful things became.

I remember always loving to plan trips and fly out and do stuff if even just to hang out. I remember going to Iowa 3 times with Nick. It’s the journey I love, not the destination, but even moreso, it’s the planning.

Guess who’s going to Ohio?

Saturday, January 10th, 2009

I’m really thrilled. I’m going to Ohio to see the new James Bond movie w/ this gal and then I’m gonna have some good ol’ Tim Horton’s! I can still remember holding the doughnuts in my hand from when I was in Toronto.

Now, there are still some specifics to be thought out, but the first day I’m there, we’re totally hangin’ out in Pittsburgh, PA since I’ll be coming in from that airport.

It’s gonna be so fun. While the actual agenda is sparse, at least I know we’ll be able to accomplish that stuff. Other than that, it’ll just be fun times I hope.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

Saturday, January 3rd, 2009

Can I just say it? The main character is a pissy poo. Seriously, he needs to grow up. Luckily, someone once told me to appreciate that kinda stuff in characters, but Xenogears or not, I’m not always looking forward to a rehash. At least it’s more believable this sad. This is one of those times I dislike being wrong, ha ha ha. Either way, I’m kinda past most of that stuff in the game, but we’ll see if he’s still gonna be a pansy for the rest of the game. It gets kind of annoying to see myself in a game sometimes especially w/ him apologizing all the time. It’s like “I get it okay? I know it’s wrong geez”.
